Agreed - "no one elected these people". Yet somehow they seem to be in charge. Who voted for electric cars-only by 2030? No one. But the people in charged have dictated it. Where's the push-back? No where.
Excellent. Nicely written and with just right amount of piss-taking and sarcasm whilst not losing focus on how much we need to watch the frankly ludicrous - although dangerous - antics of these self elected "elites". Thanks
Probably the most succinct summery I have read, nice one Nick! I like that you mention the similarity to Roman Emperors. In case you might be interested, I've mapped the rise and fall of globalization to the patterns from previous civilizations. The hubris we see at Davos maps us precisely into the 6th of 7 phases, with only collapse remaining. Hi Nick, great article, saw your link in Spectator Australia. It really makes me wonder how this nutjob bag of doomsters get any traction or credibility. I think their idea of the future is killing of 99% of the world and living underground, ala "Beneath the Planet of the Apes" where they used telepathy and worshipped a Nuclear Bomb, which hadn't gone off....yet. Best solution is to support others and try and help others to stay ahead of these cultists, who despite money, seem to want to become a God or deity of some kind.
Thanks Shawn. First toe in the water for me of actually publishing pieces. I think maybe one of the things we need to communicate to people is just how bleak and joyless the WEF's vision of the future is. Also to pole fun at them.
I believe this is a resource war between us and them.

Thanks Nick loving what you do even though it makes my head hurt.
Thanks mate. You're my first ever commenter!
It makes mine hurt too, if it's any consolation.
Luckily I have a brilliant local pub. x
